British American Tobacco is the world’s second cigarette manufacturer company. A biopharmaceutical company owned by Reynolds American Inc. claimed that “they have developed the coronavirus vaccine and now ready for the Phase 1 Trial” said on Friday. COVID-19 Vaccine from top Cigarette maker laboratory trial successfully done.
The company is still waiting for approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The vaccine successfully passed the laboratory trial phase and now after getting the approval, British American Tobacco Company will move forward for its Human Trial Phase.
The COVID-19 Vaccine from top Cigarette maker has shown positive immune response during its clinical trial phase and now we are stepping forward with Human Trial.
“We have committed funds to conduct these clinical trials, which could start as early as late June, pending the responses from relevant health bodies.” statement given on Friday. The vaccine developed by the Cigarette maker is based on the “Antigen” (An artificially built fragment of the novel coronavirus).
The company broke the news with saying “Pleased to report the potential vaccine has been shown to produce a positive immune response and now poised to progress to the next stage which will be Phase 1 human clinical trials pending [US] FDA authorization”
There are various COVID-19 projects running across the world and already reached on different stages of trial and testing. But still the COVID 19 Vaccine is far away almost a year.
